Everything You Need The Tool Secret Vault Pro: Hide Pics

■ A real calculator on the outside

The icon and name say calculator, and it really calculates — arithmetic, percent, square root, sign change. Hand your phone over and a calculator is all there is to find. The vault opens only when you type your own password and press "=".

A locked album app on the home screen tells everyone something is in there. This one stays a calculator, so nobody realises there is a vault at all.

■ Three steps

1. Open the calculator, type your 4-digit password, press "="
2. Tap "+" and pick photos, videos, audio or files
3. They are encrypted, moved into the vault, and gone from your gallery

"Unhide" takes them out again, one at a time or many at once.

■ What you can hide

Photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIF), videos (MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV), audio (MP3, M4A, WAV) and any other file — PDF, documents, ZIP, APK. No restriction on type.

■ Encrypted with AES-256

Everything in the vault is encrypted with AES-256, with the key protected by the Android KeyStore. Open one of those files from another app or a computer and the contents are unreadable. Unlock with your password, fingerprint or face.

■ View and play without taking anything out

- Photos open in a viewer you can pinch to zoom
- Video and audio play while still encrypted, with a ±15-second skip, a seek bar and a volume slider
- Video thumbnails are encrypted too, so opening a list leaks nothing
- No playback notification, so file names never reach your lock screen

■ Folders

Make your own folders for each type — Travel, Work, Family. Rename, delete and move between them freely.

■ Camera, recorder, browser

Photos from the built-in camera are written encrypted from the start and never touch your gallery. Recordings go straight into the vault and keep running with the screen off. The browser inside encrypts history and bookmarks; long-press an image to save it into the vault. Up to 12 tabs, voice input.

■ Notes, contacts and trash

Notes and contacts that live only inside the vault, encrypted, never written to your phone's own apps. Deleted items go to the trash and can be restored to their folder.

■ For moments you would rather not explain

- Intruder log: after repeated wrong passwords the front camera quietly takes a photo and records the time
- Decoy vault: a second password opens a separate vault holding only harmless things
- Panic gesture: a shake, or laying the phone face down, drops you back to the calculator
- Screenshot block: vault screens stay out of screenshots and recent apps
- Backoff: wrong passwords make the next attempt wait longer
- Auto lock: leave the app and the vault closes
- Bulk rename: names stay readable inside, so swap them for names like IMG_48213907.jpg

■ So you never lose it

- Recovery code: write down the code shown when the vault is created, and you can reinstall and get the vault back
- Backup and restore: export the whole vault, still encrypted, as one file where you choose
- Forgot your password: a security question you set in advance confirms it

■ FAQ

Q. What if I forget my password?
A. Your security question confirms it. If that is gone too, there is no way in — we never hold it.

Q. Does uninstalling delete everything?
A. No. The encrypted folder stays. Reinstall, enter the recovery code, and it opens as before.

Q. What about a new phone?
A. Take the exported backup file plus the recovery code.

Q. Is anything uploaded?
A. No. The vault stays on your device, and backups go only where you send them.

■ Before you install

- Uninstalling leaves the encrypted vault folder on your storage; the recovery code brings it back. To remove it, delete the vault from inside the app.
- Files taken out are written to the "Calculator" folder, not back where they came from.
- File and folder names are not encrypted — the contents are.
- We do not hold your password or recovery code, and neither can be reissued.
Looks and works like a calculator. Inside, an AES-256 vault for photos & files.
